A lecture on the secrets of the border in Science Café Pilsen

During the Second World War, border zones were silent witnesses of tragic death marches and many fighting clashes. After 1948, these places had been crosscuted by the “Iron Curtain”, which has completely enclosed these areas for 40 years. The results of modern archaeological research mapping the border area of Tachov region were presented by Michal Rak and Lukáš Funk at the open lecture in Science Café in Pilsen on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. The presentation of the extinct municipalities, the original production facilities and the relics of the “Iron Curtain” did not miss more than three dozen listeners.
