Film about traditional Tachau cuisine

Filmmakers from the West Bohemian Region were attracted by one of the main outputs of the project – the regional cookbook. Thus, the members of the project performed in the film The Regional cuisine of the Pilsen Region, which was created on the order of The Regional Authority of the Pilsen Region as a media output promoting the intangible cultural heritage in the region. The film featured Gabriela Fatková and Andrea Königsmarková as experts on border cuisine and they also prepared food traditionally associated with various groups inhabiting Tachov region (cmunda, tokan, kejchle and pork rolls). At the regional level, the major attention of the film has been paid to the otherwise neglected Tachov region, besides the commonly promoted regions, such as Chodsko. At the same time, we are very pleased that we were able to share the results of our research of local foodways with the broad audience.
