The preparation of the cookbook is accompanied by so-called cookery workshops

Since the beginning of the project, four so-called cookery or cooking workshops (in Lesná, Chynín and Bušovice) have already taken place and the content of the unique bilingual “Tachau memory cookbook” is gradually being developed. All recipes, which will be part of the planned book and which the researchers collect from the local informants, need to be tested (ideally under the direction of the informants themselves) and photographed. During the workshops, important information about eating in past times, recipes passing for generations or memories associated with traditional or festive meals are also collected.
